GENERAL INFO
Practice Tips
Try to practice 5 days of the week for a short time. If you are focused on what you need to practice, even for 15 minutes, you will be most efficient with your time.
Make sure that you practice the day after your lesson. Then you will remember what your teacher told you.
Look at the music and think about how it will sound before you play it. Think about what your beginning hand position will be. Look at where you will need to pause and prepare for something different.
Learn the songs in sections, and make sure that you have learned each section correctly. It takes more of your time to have to re-learn that section, so listen to how you sound as you play.
Make sure you are using the same fingerings each time. Learn each hand separately, using the appropriate keyboard technique to get the tone you want.
If you get frustrated, stop, and come back to the piano later that day.
After you have focused on practicing the lesson for 15 minutes, look ahead at a song, and try to play it. Or go back and play some songs that you already know.

TESTIMONIALS
Rebecca has more than met our expectations, and that says a lot because we expect the very best when it comes to helping our son. Our kids looked forward to their time with her, and she helps us make learning fun. Families who know her must love her as much as we do! Kathie and Dave, parents
When Rebecca is working with my daughter or talking to me, she is very focused and present for us; I can tell that she genuinely cares. I feel lucky to have my daughter work with such a dedicated, intelligent (both book smart and common sense wisdom) and compassionate teacher. Jani, parent
I especially liked how Rebecca communicated with us about my son's progress. She gave us ideas to help him practice at home, and he loved going to lessons with her. Our whole family adores her. Jessica, parent
